The Details

  • Module 1 October 29, 2025 (first session)
  • Module 5 December 17, 2025 (last session)
  • Each session is 2 hours and will include a micro assignment to complete after the session
  • A maximum of 12 participants per cohort
  • Must have a registered business with the Ohio Secretary of State
  • There is no cost to participate in this course
  • All participating businesses will receive free technical assistance at the completion of the program. Must attend 90% of the session to qualify.
  • Branding and rebranding businesses can participate.
  • Some sessions will be in person, and some will be virtual

As your Instructor, Shanay Braxton is equipped to guide our visual communication efforts, drawing from her Master's in Organizational Development and a career dedicated to empowering organizations through effective communication.Shanay's journey highlights the power of visual messaging in action. At many organizations, including the United States Peace Corps in Morocco, she honed her skills by:

  • Empowering Teams: Training Program Coordinators to visually update the website with department news and opportunities, ensuring clear and engaging communication.
  • Building Visual Playbooks: Developing organization's operations manuals, a key visual resource for consistent messaging and sustainable practices.

Today, Shanay applies her expertise to help businesses visually communicate their core messages and connect with their audiences. She understands the visual architecture of various web platforms (GoDaddy, Wix, WordPress, Squarespace) and how to leverage them for maximum impact.
